PUENTE QESWACHACA FULL DAY

With this program, we will visit an unique place in the world, the last Inca bridge, known as “Queswachaca”. Our experience will start in Cusco, we will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30-5am, we will travel in our touristic transport to the south of Cusco; our first stop will be in Combapata, where we will stop to use the hygienic services and enjoy a small local breakfast. Afterwards, we will head to Combapata viewpoint, we will enjoy a beautiful view and we will continue to reach Yanaoca district, which is one of the eight districts of Canas province. We will continue our journey for one more hour and we will reach Q´ewe district where the famous Q´eswachaka Inca bridge is located, which is built of vegetal fiber and has a length of 28.67 meters. The most surprising and traditional thing is that the bridge is reconstructed once a year in the month of June by 4 local communities. Our guide will narrate the famous history of the Incan engineering that was used for the construction of Q´eswachaca; later we will have free time to explore the area. Upon ending our visit, we will continue our trip for one more hour and we will appreciate the lagoons of: Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopia and Pomacanchi, where we will stop to enjoy our box lunch “Picnic”, while observing a wide variety of regional flora and fauna. After finishing lunch, we will return to the city of Cusco, but first we will have a short stop at Rumipunku portal. We will reach Cusco around 5 in the afternoon.
