MACHU PICCHU + MOUNTAIN
(2 days / 1 night)

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

We will have a very early breakfast at the hotel, later we will transfer to the bus station, to ascend to the Archeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. At the entrance we will meet our guide who will share with us his knowledge about the citadel and its history; we will finally start the ascent to Machu Picchu mountain, the walk will take around 4 hours, depending on the physical condition or experience walking. The road includes easy access stretches, but will require a lot of effort since, just like Wayna Picchu, the whole road is upward. Upon arriving at the top, we can appreciate an incomparable view of Machu Picchu citadel and mountain Huayna Picchu. Ending our journey, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will have time to have lunch. In the afternoon, we will board the train to return to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to Cusco.

IMPORTANT:

The train schedules are subjected to space availability.
The entry to Machu Picchu citadel will be in the first hours.
