City Tour + Valle Sagrado + Machu Picchu + Maras y Moray

DÍA 1: WELCOME CUSCO- CITY AND SURROUNDINGS
At the convenient time, we will pick you up from the airport to leave you at your hotel in the city of Cusco.
At around 1 o´clock in the afternoon we will start our journey to get to know the most representative icons of the Incan culture that surround Cusco. Our experience will start in your hotel in Cusco, around 1 o´clock in the afternoon we will pick you up and we will start our city tour. The first site we will visit will be Cusco Cathedral. Later, we will visit Qorikancha Temple or Templo del Sol (Temple of the Sun)- according to many historians, this was the most important temple for the Incas, because it worshipped their highest deity- The Sun or “Inti”. We will continue our journey visiting Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Our experience will end close to Plaza de Armas in Cusco, around 6 in the evening.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS- AGUAS CALIENTES
Around 8 in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and we will start our journey travelling to the north of the city; the first place we will visit will be Pisac archeological center, inside of which we will also visit a craft market, where we can buy souvenirs and unique local artefacts. After our visit, we will head to the district of Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will have the buffet lunch that will allow us to dive into the delicious Peruvian gastronomy. After lunch, we will travel half an hour more to the fortress of Ollantaytambo , where our guide will tell us about the history and will explain the architecture of the place. Finally we will head to the train station that is situated very close to the archeological center of Ollantaytambo; we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village)- the train journey will take around 2 hours. Upon reaching, a member of our staff will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel where you can spend the night.

DAY 3: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU
Very early we will have breakfast and we will transfer to the bus station to ascend to Machu Picchu citadel; upon reaching we will meet our guide who will start telling us the history of Machu Picchu and describe the most important sites of the Inca city; the guided tour will last around 2 hours and afterwards you will have time to explore Machu Picchu and take the best photos of your trip. Upon finalizing the visit, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will return by train to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you to assist you and transfer you to Cusco.

DAY 4: MARAS Y MORAY (1/2 DAY)
We start in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. and we headed to the village of Maras and the experimental agricultural platforms of Moray . First we arrive at Moray. In Moray the Incas created their own micro-climates to adapt the plants to different altitudes. After this we will make a visit to the Town of Maras and Finally we arrive at the Maras salt mines , which was already exploited since the Inca era. In the afternoon we finish the tour at 2:00 pm in the city of Cusco.
