TRADITIONAL CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU (3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS)
DAY 1: CUSCO CITY TOUR (1/2 DAY)
With this program we will visit the best of Cusco and we will reach one of the most enigmatic places in the world: Machu Picchu. At the convenient time, we will pass to pick you up from the airport or the bus station to transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
This day will serve as acclimatization, for this we will organize a city tour, to slowly visit the most important attractions in Cusco. Around 1 o´clock in the afternoon we will pick you up at your hotel and we will transfer you to the starting point of our tour. The first place we will visit will be Cusco Cathedral; later we will head to Qorikancha Temple or “Templo del Sol” (“Temple of the Sun”). We will continue our journey visiting the great fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo (also known as “The Labyrinth”), Puka Pukara- The Red Fortress and lastly the Inca baths of Tambomachay. Our journey will end near Plaza de Armas in Cusco around 6 in the evening. Hotel night in Cusco.

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU BY TRAIN 1 DAY
It all starts in Cusco, at the convenient time we will pick you up at the hotel and we will transfer on our bus to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Upon reaching, we will board the train that will take us to the village of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village) on a journey of around 2 hours, during which we can appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Sacred Valley. After reaching Aguas Calientes, we will board the bus that will transfer us to the Archeological Park of Machu Picchu, situated at the top of the mountain. We will meet our guide who will start the guided tour during which he will explain the history and characteristics of the Inca city. The guided visit will take around 2 hours, later you will have time to explore Machu Picchu freely. After ending the visit, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will have time to have lunch and explore the picturesque village. In the afternoon we will head to the train station to board the train to return to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you to Cusco.
