PALCCOYO "COLORFUL MOUNTAINS"

In this program we will visit one of the new tourist attractions of Cusco “The Palcoyo colorful mountains and the stone forest”
We will pick you up between 06:00 to 06:30 in the morning (we suggest you acclimatize at least one day in advance in the city of Cusco before starting this tour) we will start our adventure heading south of Cusco for approximately 2:30 hrs, until arriving at the Pitumarka district, we will continue our journey in direction to the Combapata district, before arriving to this town, we will make a stop to take photos of the attractive colonial bridge of Combapata (it may be on the return), then we will continue our trip for approximately 1:30 hrs. to the left bank of the Salka river, through an unpaved road, in this section we will see native alpacas in their natural habitat, finally we will reach the community of Palccoyo, located at 4100 meters above sea level, from this point we will have privileged views of the colorful mountain range of Palccoyo, with its three mountains of visible colors, we will also enjoy the view of the great stone forest. This is an excellent option for people who do not like a lot of walking, our guide will give you the option of a 40-minute walk to reach the highest parts to get a better point of view of the three red hills and the stone forest. After 2 to 3 hours of total enjoyment, we will return to Cusco in our ride, we will follow the same route on the way back and when we arrive in Pitumarca, we will enjoy our traditional lunch with local products and then continue to the city of Cusco, arriving at 18:30 hrs. approximately.
