MACHU PICCHU + HUAYNA PICCHU
(FULL DAY)

With this program we will visit Machu Picchu citadel and the mountain situated to the north; this program will test your physical resistance and your fear of heights, but it will an unforgettable experience. Our journey will start in Cusco, we will pick you up very early from the hotel to transfer you to Ollantaytambo station; here we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu village). Upon arriving, the staff will assist us to take the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu citadel, situated at the top of the mountain. While we enter, we will meet our guide who will share with us all his knowledge about the citadel and its history. Then we will finally start the ascent to Huayna Picchu. The walk takes 2 hours to climb and come down, includes vertigo stretches and narrow roads, but upon reaching the top, all the effort will be repaid, this viewpoint of the Inca city is impressive and moreover, one can appreciate the Inca architecture, like the famous “Moon Temple”. Finally, we will descend to Machu Picchu citadel to take the bus to return to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, we will board the train with the destination Ollantaytambo where our staff will be waiting for you to assist you and return to Cusco.
